The Lewin's Change Model PowerPoint Template is a business management tool used for introducing changes to an organization.
Lewin's change methodology describes three stages necessary to create change, unfreeze, change, and refreeze.
This concept of change management is taken from changing liquid states. Therefore, the model is visualized through ice cubes that depict all three stages. A melting cube represents the unfreezing stage, a splash of water illustrates change itself, and a whole cube represents the refreezing stage.
According to the creator Robert T. Lewin, people do not change their behaviors simply because a change has occurred. Instead, three phases must be considered when understanding how people respond to a change.
Unfreeze: This is the phase in which workers accept the change and begin to seek ways to implement the change and become accepting of it.
Change: Workers begin to adapt their current behaviors and attitudes to those necessary to accommodate the change.
Refreeze: This is the phase in which the change becomes permanent.
This template includes multiple slides to visualize the necessary steps to implement changes within a company.
The template is fully editable and can be adapted to fit your specific needs.
